This website was opened on 17 November 2006 as a means of involving all of the Class of 1957, University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, in promoting and managing our 50-year reunion. It proved to be invaluable in helping to make that event a great success, as it was also for our 55-year and 60-year reunions.
Although those parties are over, we continue to invite your input.
If you have not already done so, please register and provide a biographical update with a relatively recent portrait of yourself.
The easiest way to do this is to click below and write me a rough email message with an attached digital photo. I will tidy it up and post it on your page after it has been returned for your approval.
You can also do the biographical update yourself on your personal page after login, when an additional button, “Change Your Information” will appear on the left.
If you do not have a digital photo, mail me a print.
Any other interesting photos are welcome for inclusion in the Photo Gallery.
The Memories section of Photo Galleries is for any other graphic material, or for any photos of memorabilia that you may have. Send me digital images or photo prints and I will include them.

2. 5T7 Meds 50th-Anniversary Party - Our Jubilee-Year Reunion!
Our reunion was a great success, with 59 classmates or their representatives in attendance at the usual reception and dinner. This number has only been surpassed twice before, in our previous 9 reunions: 65 at our first, in 1962; and 64 in 1982, our 25th anniversary reunion.
On Tuesday evening, 5 June 2007, we and our partners were the honoured guests of the Medical Alumni Association (MAA), to attend the Convocation Banquet that they hosted to celebrate the convocation of the Class of 0T7; and to honour our 50-year Class of 5T7, the Class of 4T7, and the Class of 4T2.
Each of the Classes had a group photograph taken by the MAA photographer outside Hart House.
On Wednesday morning, 6 June 2007, we were invited to the Pre-Convocation Ceremony in Convocation Hall (which was 100 years old in 2007).
The Dean's Luncheon followed in the early afternoon in the Alumni Association Lounge in the Medical Sciences Building.
During lunch, we met, greeted, and caught up on years of news.
On Wednesday evening, 6 June 2007, the celebration culminated with a superbly catered reception and dinner at beautiful Massey College on the University of Toronto campus.

Dr. Irvin (Kelly) Gollish Memorial Award
The Dr. Kelly Gollish 5T7 Memorial Award was inaugurated in 1998, and is awarded annually to a medical student in either the third or fourth year who has demonstrated an interest in the field of ophthalmology, through clinical or research participation.

Dr. Janice Huffman Memorial Medical Alumni Award in Radiology
The 5T7 Memorial Dr. Janice Huffman Medical Alumni Award in Radiology was inaugurated in 2009. It was established by 5T7 class members and friends, in memory of the late Dr. Janice Huffman, and is awarded annually to a graduating medical student who has excelled in and will be specializing in radiology, either diagnostic or therapeutic radiology.

This award, established by the Kosar family and administered by the Ontario Medical Association, is given to assist financially challenged medical students from Northeastern Ontario attending the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.

The Dr. Martin Berger 5T7 Memorial Award
The award was established from a donation from Judith Berger and family, in memory of their late husband and father. The scholarship is given to an undergraduate medical student from a financially disadvantaged background who has overcome childhood adversity due to illness (either themselves or a family member), and has the dream of becoming a doctor; and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others for the betterment of humanity. The award is renewable throughout the four years of the medical program.
